Wirral Landfall

Wirral Landfall

At our information event in February we presented two possible landfall locations for the cable to come ashore on the North Wirral coast: Dove Point (Meols) and Leasowe.

These options have now been considered in detail and a landfall at Leasowe has been identified as the preferred option. The attached fact sheet describes how this decision was reached.

As we finalise our plans we will continue to communicate with local residents and businesses, Wirral Council and other stakeholder groups.

To allow us to share our plans with the local communities likely to be affected, we plan to organise public information events along the length of the cable later this year.

If you have any questions about the project, please do not hesitate to contact our Community Relations team on: Freephone 0800 030 4137 or email info@westernhvdclink.co.uk.
